My Health Online
This is an online service which enables you to book routine appointments with a doctor up to 15 days in advance and order your repeat prescription online. The booking system will be secure and patients will need to register for the service in order to obtain secure logon details.
In order to register, patients will need to:
- Complete a registration form which is available from reception at the Practice, bringing with them a photo ID (i.e. driving licence or passport). This is so that we ensure we are giving access to the correct person. Please note all patients will need to provide their own personal e-mail address to register.
- Receive a user guide and registration details from reception, which will need to be entered via the secure NHS My Health Online Website
- The registration process will generate an e-mail, which will contain an activation link, which will need to be processed in order to complete the registration process.
Only routine appointments can be booked online. Patients will still need to contact the Practice for emergency appointments.
Parental/Third Party Access to My Health Online
Access to My Health Online will be given in the name of an individual patient (i.e. children will need their own registration).
Once a child is aged 16, we will no longer provide access to My Health Online to parents/guardians. To continue using My Health Online all patients over the aged of 16 will need to re-register to My Health Online and provide their own e-mail address.
If a patient wishes a relative/carer to have access to their online account, we will need written consent from the patient, in addition to proof of identity, to provide this.
All patients should be aware that details of their booked appointments will be viewable by anyone who has access to their registration details.
