The practice RGN nurses are available every day of the week. They deal with such things as blood pressure and medication monitoring, injections, overseas travel advice, wound care, removal of stitches, and cervical smears. Our nurses also run the chronic disease monitoring and health promotion clinics.

The healthcare assistants are also available for dressings, ECGs, blood pressure, urine checks and to take blood tests.

Glenda (Reception Supervisor), Alyson, Amy, Carolyn, Louise, Amy, Emily, Lauren, Gemma, Tracy, Jess and Delilah. The receptionists’ job is to make appointments for our surgeries and clinics and deal with requests for home visits, urgent appointments, repeat prescriptions and hospital appointments. Our receptionists are trained as care navigators and will direct you to the most appropriate service for your need. They are trained to take as much information from the patient as possible in order to triage as effectively as possible. This will then help the clinicians prioritize the need.

A Midwife allocated to the practice from the AGHB team holds a clinic by appointment at the surgery on a Friday Morning.
